The PRESTO 50 double-leaf swing gate offers a practical solution that combines reliability with high aesthetic appeal. Designed for use in uninsulated utility, industrial, and technical buildings—including food industry facilities where there is no direct contact with food—it is also suitable for locations with unique building conditions.

Functionality and Safety

The gate is opened manually, outwards. As standard, it is equipped with a frame mounted in the opening and two symmetrical leaves filled with a 40mm segment panel.
Frame
Single-chamber steel sections without thermal break on the Forster Presto system. Both the frame and the gate leaf are made of 1.5 [mm] thick sections. The sections are joined together by welding.
Locking
The active leaf has a standard 1-point locking – mortise lock for So ≤ 2500 and Ho ≤ 2500 [mm]. Additionally, in gates with So > 2500 or Ho > 2500 [mm] and at the customer's request, an additional top locking is installed. The passive leaf has 2-point locking (top + bottom) activated by means of a rotary lever.
Hinges
The gate is equipped with welded steel bearing hinges (non-adjustable). Welded hinge connections with the frame ensure stable mounting, eliminate sagging of the wings and the need for their adjustment.
Sealing
The gate is sealed around its entire perimeter using seals. The seals are located on the outside of the leaf, which ensures proper tightness and noise reduction. The tightness of the gate is guaranteed by additional seals between the panels.
Equipment and Delivery
The door frame is screwed together in the entire size range and is supplied in two parts + threshold. The door frame has holes for direct mounting using mounting pins.
Colours
All steel elements are powder coated. Steel surfaces are prepared for painting using abrasive blasting. The surface is painted twice: with a primer layer and then with a decorative layer. The door leaf frame, door frame frame and blind fillings are painted on both sides in the same colour. The gate filling made of a segmented panel on the inside is white, similar to RAL 9002.
Wing Filling
Panels are made of 40 [mm] galvanized steel sheet, painted on both sides with polyester paints, filled with polyurethane foam.
Protective Foil
During transport the leaf is covered with a protective foil (protection against dirt).
Panel Structure
Woodgrain – structure imitating wood grain. Smoothgrain – smooth structure with micro embossing. Sandgrain – structure of fine-grained sand. Silkline – smooth structure.
